Copyright protection applies to the creation of expressive
works in the form of text, artwork, music, etc. A copyright
develops in a work of expression as soon as the work
takes a tangible form such as through electronic transmission,
on paper, film, canvas or CD. A copyright infringement
arises when someone publishes text, art, music, etc.,
that substantively recreates copyrighted material.
